After undergoing the frustration of seeing the current education system not delivering on:
Samvidya Trust® has adopted diverse activities for promoting active hands on learning. We include activities that reinforce collaborative and cooperative learning in addition to individual kinesthetic intelligence. We encourage to adopt simple stories, songs, objects and gadgets to communicate the concept during learning.
A variety of interactive multidisciplinary activities have stimulated interest and involvement in the learning process. This has resulted in positive outcome of students actively constructing their own knowledge rather than being passive learners.
This learning is supported by kits, materials and books of practice.
At the end of each interactive hands-on session, the students gained a sense of achievement and sported a smile of confidence on their face. These activities created more hunger for knowledge and improved student’s observation skills in addition to substantial improvement in deeper understanding of the topic and improved interpersonal skills.
Activity-based teaching is well appreciated by both the students and teachers!
To encourage scientific learning in schools, Samvidya Trust® has installed annual cash award for the outstanding science student in more than 30 schools. This award is for the student who understands science best and not for the one who scores highest.
Samvidya Trust® is supporting competitions in schools and organizations to have greater participation and learning of students.
Samvidya Trust® organizes summer camps for various levels of students to make science learning enjoyable and satisfying even in their vacations.
Samvidya Trust® pays school/college fees of underprivileged students from all communities.
You can help us to help underprivileged students learn most effectively by giving financial support!
Activities require materials, designs and service of experts, which need funds. Your donation, however small it is, is a big way to give back to society.
All your donations are tax deductible under section 80G of the income tax act. Kindly give donations generously and help us to help students. Contact us for tax exempted donations.
